Steamboat Springs

We left the day after Cambie got home and drove to Steamboat Springs Colorado. We spent a week there with all of our family hanging out, eating delicious food, and spending lots of time with our sweet Cambria.

We drove by the Vernal Temple on the way there.

After going to church on Sunday we took a little nature walk at Fish Creek Falls. Beautiful.

In the mornings we could see the hot air balloons flying high.

We all loved spending time at the hot springs. Damon and Jonas have really opened up now to water and did not get out the entire time we were there. Damon's feet were so sensitive after spending so many hours in the water he had a hard time walking for a bit. It was like he had wrinkly grandpa feet X 10.

They boys went fishing a few times. So beautiful here.

There was mini golf and ping pong at the club house that the boys loved playing.

One day we did the Alpine Slide. Everyone but the littles went. Lyla was good with running around on the grass.

The little shops downtown were fun to walk through. The boys favorite one was no surprise.

 Nor was Kyle's.

Jonas decided to feed Lyla some sour cream. I think he thought it was cottage cheese. She is only upset because I stopped him. My kids will really eat anything.
We had such a wonderful trip and such a special time with Cam. What a blessing to have her in our lives and our family. Love you Cambie! So glad to have you home.

And so glad to be home after a long trip. We are all dead tired.

She Is Home!

Well, because of a storm Cambie was delayed for a day. So the excitement could not have built up anymore! Since we thought she would be coming home Thursday we all went to my mom's to hang out. When we got home I got Jonas out of his seat and saw this. He had colored his car seat, the straps, and his clothes green with crayon. I asked him why he did it and he said, "I just wanted to be Luigi." Oh my.

At the airport on Friday. So excited!

Damon was the first one to get to her. The other kids were not far behind.

 Love my huge family.

After we got back to the house a few visitors came to see Cam. One of them was this sweet boy.

Notes and Flowers.

Growing. I can still see my feet! And paint my toenails. For now...

Damon often tells Kyle and I that he wishes we did not have to work and could be at home all the time. Us to buddy, us too.

Lyla is into everything. Loves to explore and learn. Flowers at grandma and grandpa Bitter's are especially intriguing.

And I guess they smell good enough to eat!

Scout Camp

Kyle used to think he hated the outdoors. Not so. Good thing scouts helped him come out of his shell! Camp was a success.

Angela's Wedding, Miss Syracuse.

So grateful we were able to go and see Angela and Tyler be sealed. What a special day. Loved getting to hang out with all my wonderful family on that side. I haven't seen some of them in so long! Especially Sarah who came from Pittsburg with her new little angel Grace. Such a great day.

Wow, can hardly handle all these beautiful girls! Love my sweet cousins.

My sweet friend Shelly Thorne invited me to come to the Miss Syracuse Pageant! I have not been able to go for so many years since we have lived away, so it was so fun to go with my mom and Breanne to cheer on the girls. Emily George is the new Miss Syracuse! So happy for her and the experiences she will have.

I also got to meet this sweet girl, Brinley Field. She was Miss Syracuse a few years ago.

Lakeview Boondocks Day

The hospital had their employee fun day! The boys loved it. Jonas was too small for the go-carts, but loved the bouncy houses with Lyla.

Activity Days Camp

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I get to work with the sweetest girls I have ever met! I am one of the Activity Day leaders for the 10-11 year olds. I seem to be magnetized to this calling since I have had it in the last 3 wards we have been in. I love it. The girls are so loving, excited, and willing to be taught. They love to be involved and help each other. What a beautiful example they are.

We had our day camp with lots of other wards at a scout campground. It was a blast!

We had a best leader, the girls loved him!

Love all these little faces.
