...Continued...

On our second day together, my dad built a tennis ball launcher. The guys stuffed 1-6 balls in the pipe and shot them in the air. They are having the time of their lives with all their power toys.
It is even bigger in real life!

Aunt Breanne and Uncle Bruce

More with the rockets,...he just can't stay away!

It has been interesting trying to teach Da how to share,...he actually did pretty well today! The boys love picking the mini roses from the bush in the background, and it was so fun to see him share his flower with Jayce.

Da getting into all of grandma's Chinese dishes. Anything that is noisy or makes a mess is usually where we find Damon.

Playing Settlers of Catan. The boys talked Alisha and I into playing this time, and it was pretty fun!

Bitter Family Vacation

I have the next few weeks off of work, and since Brian and Alisha are going to be leaving for their summer internship we had to set aside lots of time to be together. Ryan also flew home from New Jersey where he is working for the summer, and we are so happy that he can be here with all of us before we are separated for a while.
My dad spent lots of time preparing for a fun activity to do with us. He built a launcher and taught us how to make rockets. It was a huge hit, especially with the boys. They have not stopped making rockets since that first day,...this is day three! Such a fun activity, thanks dad!

It is so great to have such a nice play area in the backyard! I can remember spending many hours out there, and it is fun to see Damon enjoying it too.

It is gonna be really hard to be away from Brian, Alisha, and Jayce. We will miss them very much. They will be in Cali until August, and by then we will be settling down in Nebraska. We hope that it won't be too long until we live close again. We love you guys!

My sweet boys...

Distracted by an airplane

Our sweet friend Audrey came by to visit. We love her so much! She just had a birthday, and is so excited because she bought herself a brand new, gorgeous, well deserved car...Toyota Camry to be exact (And it is gorgeous, trust me :)

My beautiful sisters

The boys, so excited to go and fly their new creations

I would have gotten a video, but these rockets were way too fast! They were so much fun, we had a blast.

Happy Mommy's Day!

Ok everybody, this is possibly the cutest video of Damon we have ever taken. Here's a heartfelt Mother's Day Wish to all of you from Damon.

Thanks!

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who saved your juice lids for my project. For those who have not seen it yet, this is how it turned out...(visit Mrs. D. Lightful to see instructions on how to make).
I wanted to make something for Damon's room that came down from the ceiling instead of just putting things on the walls. I thought it would be a fun decoration, but creative teaching tool too. He is already pointing at them and starting to say his ABC's.

Just above his reach :) (for now...)

Visit Back Home

After Kyle's graduation on Friday we decided to go visit our families for the weekend. Brian, Alisha, Jayce, and Ryan came too. Saturday night Brookie and Cambie had their ballroom dance recital. They are so beautiful, and they danced like angels! It sure made me miss dancing.
I wish I could have gotten some closer ones but we were on the very last row.

Most of the boys decided not to come, but Bruce was sure a trooper. Brooklyn left after the last dance to go to a play so she was not able to be in the picture.

My family got a little bunny awhile ago, and of course the boys love it. It is so soft and sweet, and will sit in your lap.

Damon and Jayce playing with the screen door.

He is already wanting to drive...

Cute Jayce climbing up the steps.

The chickens are sure getting big! It is so nice for my family to get fresh eggs all the time, and for the kids to learn about taking care of them.

Recently Damon has become obsessed with tractors. (I wish we would have gotten some pics with Grandpa Johnson's big tractors, but we forgot). I had the hardest time getting him off it when we were going inside.

Whenever he heard an airplane he would turn around, point at it, and say 'airplane'. It was the one thing that could distract him from driving the tractor.

I am sad that I forgot to take pictures of Ben and Leighann. They told us this week that they are engaged and getting married in July! We are so happy for them.

Graduation!

Kyle is officially graduated from BYU! It was such a nice day today, we are so grateful to be at this point in our lives and look forward to new things ahead. Thank you to both Johnson and Bitter families for your support and everything you do! We love you and are glad that a portion of our family was able to participate with us in celebrating Kyle's graduation.
I was amazed when Damon started pushing Char around the foyer...he really is a strong little guy!

Of course he had to give her a kiss! :)
Kyle getting ready to walk across the stage. (He is the third one back in the line).
I cannot figure out why this picture turned out so bad, but it is the only one I could get while everyone was shoving me out of the way trying to get pics of their graduate.

First row, fourth from the left.
When we went outside to meet Kyle after the ceremony, Damon was wet. Since our China experience I have perfected the 'stand up' change for non-poopy diapers. When you can't find a bathroom it is better than a leak through.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know my eyes are about closed, but it was the only pic with my parents in it.
Happy day!

Congrats Babe!

Thanks again to both of our parents for coming, and Ang and Char too. We know it is such a sacrifice to drive and to get away from your normal routines. We just want you to know we love and appreciate you.
Even though Damon was in desperate need of a nap we celebrated with lunch at Goodwood. It was amazing!
Like his Daddy, already pulling out the sauces!
