Fun at the Park

A week or so ago (before it got freezing cold and started to snow again) the weather was so nice and perfect! We took trips to the park and walks around the block every day or two. We love being outdoors. Nature is so beautiful, and it is fun to see Damon experience everything and learn about the world around him.

I love this picture of them. It reminds me that Damon is so trusting in us. He follows us where ever we go. We have a big responsibility to lead him to do what is right.

We are trying to teach Damon that when we are walking on the sidewalk or across the street that he needs to hold our hands. Of course his hands are still pretty small so for now he holds one of our fingers.

Climbing on chairs, tables, opening doors,...he is getting so big!

The playground down the street from us.

Playing in the wood chips

He loves the slide! He let us know soon after we got to the park that he wanted to climb up the play toy on his own and go down the slide without any help. He is already claiming his independence from us.
