Stumps, Grandma, Lights, Friends, Father's Day.

We found out that Kyle's young mens leader when he was growing up has a tree removal business! So we got them out. The big one in the front, and four of the back ones. It is so crazy to look out the window and not see the stump sticking out of the ground anymore.

Damon is such a big helper. He loves to do whatever we are doing. With all the yard work we have done he is right there with us. I never really enjoyed working in the yard growing up. Our yard was so big that it took lots of time, and everyone needed to pitch in. I am grateful to my parents for instilling in us the value of work. I appreciate it so much now and enjoy making things better.

A sweet older lady in our ward, Sister Slade, called me one day and said her son had found an old Relief Society Magazine at a yard sale and got it for her. She opened the front page and saw a picture of my grandma. She knew my grandparents and my dad so she called me to let me know and brought me a copy of it. Amazing.

Damon is very thoughtful. He is always making Kyle and I little notes and cards. Such a treasure.

Chris has been so amazing at helping us out with upgrades on the house. With the bookcase, cubby under the stairs, and now lights in the front room! It has made such a difference. The wiring was really old so they had to replace it. When they were pulling the old wire out and putting the new in the wires separated and got stuck in the wall. We ended up having to cut up most of the wall to get to the new wire. Here is the proof!

Griff and Lara came from Colorado for a bit to visit family. We had a BBQ at her mom's house. The boys had a blast. Teddy is so sweet, and little Benji! Oh how we miss our friends.

Da showing the littles how its done.

Same old. These guys are just little boys at heart.

Happy Father's day to the best one. And how grateful we are for our own fathers. Truly priceless.

Jonas had a hard day and ended up on the chair. Exhausted, he decided to stay for awhile.

At grandma and grandpa Bitter's the kids found a snake! They couldn't get enough of it.

Ultrasound, Baseball, Fish fry.

We had our 'late' 20 week ultrasound this week. Baby boy looks amazing. What a blessing. Being a mother is a truly miraculous and humbling experience. So grateful for this precious gift.

Every so often I start getting bored and need to do something. Usually it includes thrifting or crafting something. Not spending much money. Spending money kinda stresses me out. I am sure coming from a big family and having my dad lose his job for a period of time has had its effects. But I find great satisfaction in making something out of nothing or from very little. My sisters (and my mom) have a rotating system of 'DI' bags we all look through and contribute to. Don't know where this shirt came from but I gave it some love. Big hearts are always in.

And the little man got a mommy made arrow shirt.

More baseball evenings. Look at those piggies!!!

Up to bat.

The Garland City Fire Department Fish fry. We love this. I am pretty sure we would come even if Rob wasn't the Fire Chief. But that makes it all the more fun!

Coloring and fire hats make standing in line not all that bad.

Oh the smoked salmon with butter sauce. How we have missed you!!! The boys loved it, and I (who doesn't particularly like seafood at all...depends on how fresh it is, how it is cooked, and if it really does smell like fish) may have a small crush on it too.

Rob took Kyle and the boys back to see how it is done.

Needless to say, the fireman hats were a hit for the next few days until they broke apart.

Last Day Of School, Date, Life.

Damon's last day of school was last week. Mrs Israelsen has been the most amazing teacher and such a sweet person to Damon. I was so worried when we moved to Kaysville last August and registered him with only a week before school started. I didn't know any of the teachers and was so stressed that it would be a rough transition with everything going on. But not so. So grateful for wonderful teachers and people who are great role models and examples for my children.

And this guy. My boss gave me a gift card so we went out. Nothing better than spending time with my love.

So grateful to my mom. She is an amazing cook and always made our meals from scratch. I didn't know what a huge impact that would have on me until I was in charge of my own family. Good habits make it so much easier to keep with them. One thing I didn't make at home before I was married was bread. My sisters all did, I guess I just skipped out on it. So now having gone back and learned from her I am even more thankful for what a truly talented and amazing person my mother is. Most importantly her and my dad taught us about the gospel. Not just by words but by example.

When Lyla was born I secretly hoped she would have curly hair. It didn't seem like she would at first. But as it has gotten longer the curls are coming out! One thing she got from me. Beautiful girl.

My view from about 4 am on. I work on the top floor of Lakeview Hospital on their Ortho/Spine department. I have the most amazing view of the Bountiful temple in the early morning hours when most are still asleep. Nights are rough sometimes but it sure gives me time to contemplate life and the gospel in periods with little distraction. I work two 12 hour shifts a week, 6 pm-6 am.

Chris has been so sweet. Every week he worked out to take us to his grandparents pool to let the kids swim. I know this has had a huge impact on them both! They really didn't like water or swimming until this year. Now we can't get them out of the pool! Thanks Chris and Brookie! Love you guys.
And as an extra bonus-he treats the kids to snow cones. Lucky ducks.

Memorial Day, Program at the Cemetery.

There was a special Memorial Day program at the Kaysville Cemetery. Elder L Tom Perry spoke. It was so wonderful to hear him speak and be able to pay tribute to those who have died for our country.

Glad my parents and Breannie could come! So fun to have them.

Fun with dried apples!

So awesome to meet and have the boys shake Elder Perry's hand.

Fun with the slip and slide Damon got for his birthday. They usually hate getting wet at all. Sprinklers, pool, anything. But this year it all changed!

Our sweet neighbors gave us some radishes from their garden. I am not a huge fan, but these were delish!

Reagan's Blessing

The Anderson's came to visit their families from NE and bless their sweet babe Reagan. We both have two older boys and the baby girls pretty close to the same ages. So fun to see them, meet Reagan, and let our kiddies play together again. Miss all our Nebraska friends.

 Sweet angel.

These little girls have their dads wrapped around their fingers.

Lincoln, Damon, Ford, and Jonas. Love these boys!
