Davis County Jr Miss

I know I am a little late in posting about this, but last week Brookie was in the Jr Miss 'program' at Viewmont High. She was truly amazing. Brooklyn has always been so sweet and mature for her years. Aside from being extremely talented she is very modest about it. It has been such a blessing for me to be her sister and learn from her. What an amazing person she is. I am so glad she decided to participate in this program and get out of her comfort zone. She was absolutely beautiful, stunning! We couldn't keep our eyes off her (and not just because she is family :)

She played the piano beautifully.

Instead of doing the 'swimsuit' thing, the Jr Miss program has the girls do an exercise routine.

Every girl could have one person backstage with her, and Brookie was so kind to let me help her! What a treat, I loved helping her get all girly! Thanks Brookie! I had so much fun.

All the girls and the two coordinators.

So for Jr Miss, there are three finalists,...and all three get to go to the state program! Brooklyn along with two other girls will be competing next year.

The three in the center are the finalists.

Our proud family! We love you Brooklyn! (We missed you Ryan, Brian, Alisha, and Jayce)

AND we got to see someone really special there that I almost forgot to mention. President Eyring! His grand daughter participated in the program with Brooklyn. He and his wife sat with their family a few rows away from us. He truly brought tears to my eyes just to see his face so close and to feel of the spirit he brought with him. Such a valiant servant of our Heavenly Father.

Bitter Family Pictures

Thanks to Alisha, we were able to have some pictures taken before we all separate for a while. They turned out so great! She is incredibly creative and talented in so many ways. Thanks so much Lish! I know taking pictures with our large group is kinda stressful,...but we really appreciate it!

We were so glad that Ryan could be here this week. The boys are so in love with him! He always had the time to play and sit with them on the 'tractor' (aka lawn mower).

One of my favorites...

Don't you love that little smirk on his face?

Sweet little boys, they light up our world!

...Continued...

We were able to go on a hike with everyone in the family,...including the two toddler boys. I was very doubting and worried about how they would do. I could just imagine it turning into a nightmare. I am so glad we did it though. Everyone was so helpful, trading off holding the boys and carrying them up the mountain. We made it all the way to the waterfall in Adams Canyon. It was a great experience. It did rain on us a bit, but it made the air nice and cool.

Thanks dad for the ponchos. It helped so that we did not get entirely soaked!

By the end when we were coming back down and the ground leveled off, Damon decided he could walk on his own

He looks so happy to be walking!

Breanne found a ladybug, and he was in heaven

Yea!! We did it!

The beautiful flowers Kyle picked for me...love you sweetie!

Our sweet cousins Allison and Sarah came over to say goodbye to Alisha before she leaves to Cali. We love them so much, they are such amazing friends!
