All I see is brown and turquoise...

What I have been doing and thinking about...

We love Ryan and Lynnae! So happy they let us help out with their wedding stuff :)

Children's Museum

I don't know if I have ever posted about this museum, but we love it! It has been such a fun place to take Damon and to play with friends. It has three levels of crazy fun and we are never bored. It is an awesome place to take the kids when the winter here is unbearable and lasts for an eternity.

What a handsome knight!

Damon loved this life size chess set. He would go around setting all the pieces up and then karate kick them down. Every one of them. He was entertained by this for quite some time. Some other boys tried playing with him and setting them up but were disappointed when they were all finished to see him quickly destroy their hard work.

Birthday Package

It has been craziness in our house for awhile, but it feels like I can finally play catch up. We got a package from Grandma J for Jo's birthday. We always have fun opening packages-that has been an exciting thing for the kids (and lets face it, me too :) while living away from home. Of course Damon is a pro at opening packages now and had to show Jonas how it was done.

Still hard to believe our little bug is one now!

Jo's Birthday

February 26th was our little guy's birthday! He is a year old now, and I can hardly believe it. We made a few little goodies and had some friends over to celebrate. We are so incredibly happy and feel blessed beyond measure to have our wonderful little Jo in our family.

Such a sweet little brother to share his birthday cake! One thing we feel very grateful for is how tolerant Jonas is. Of course Damon loves his little bro and likes to wrestle and play around rough sometimes,...but Jo is up for almost anything. It is fun to see them becoming good friends and showing love to each other.

His great squishy face

Jo is starting to get the standing and walking stuff down. Da thinks it is pretty amazing that he can do those things now and cheers for him whenever he does it.

What a lucky girl I am to be surrounded by such wonderful boys!

Valentine Fun

Damon had a few of his cute little friends bring him valentines this year. He was so excited.

Also, the day after Valentines day we found out that these two wonderful people are engaged! I can not tell you how excited we are! (And I love that Damon took this picture of them while we were on skype as they spilled the beans!) Congrats Ry and Lynnae, we love you!

Alisha made the cutest valentines for her kids to give out, and I absolutely adore them! Thank you so much for sending us one! Such a wonderful surprise.

Aren't they the cutest?

Da was so happy. We LOVE getting things in the mail!

One of my friends here gave me this idea. I had Damon tell me what he wanted to say and I wrote it into a valentine for Kyle. I had him write 'Daddy' and 'Damon', and I wrote the rest from what he told me. Pretty good huh?

Funny boys

Jo's first big disaster. He poured all my wheat flour on Kyle's shoes.

And had to play in it too :)

Da sure loves his little bro.

The other day while I was cooking, I heard Damon grunting in the front room. He was supposed to be putting on his pants from the basket of laundry that I had just done. He finally asked me if I could help him. When I came around the corner, I saw this...
He had on Jonas's pants.

And when we have had a hard day of playing the best place to nap is:
Wherever you are at the moment. (Wish it was that easy for me)

Oh how I love my boys!
